Our Projects
The Bryan Adams Foundation
The Bryan Adams Foundation made a contribution to New Faces Trust to facilitate treatment for facial deformity corrections in India.
The following patients were treated for the year 2011-2012:
Hariharan
Hariharan was born with unilateral cleft lip and palate. Surgeries for lip and palate corrections were done at the St. Johns Medical College and Hospital by Dr. Anusham Ananth Rao.
Pre-Treatment
Post-Treatment
Prabhu
Prabhu fell into a well when he was nine years old and suffered fractures in his upper and lower jaw. Surgery for these fractures were undertaken at St. John’s Medical College and Hospital.
Several of his teeth were also missing and misaligned due to the fracturing of the jaws that support the teeth. Orthodontic treatment was provided at Dr. Mallika’s Dental Health Centre to align the teeth. The missing teeth were then replaced.
